Responsibilities: Manage the Financial Services function within the EMEA Shared Services Centre taking a lead role in creating the vision and setting the strategic direction for the centre. Overall responsibility for the delivery of financial services to the business units across the Group. Responsible for the internal control framework within the Shared Services functions. Responsible for the financial controls within the Business Services’ division and the delivery of its financial information including monthly management information, year-end statutory accounts, budgets and forecasts; Manage and develop a team of experienced finance professionals; Participate as part of the senior management team in SSC EMEA to the continuing broadening of services and driving process improvement across all areas; Build and develop relationships with the Group Finance functions, Business Unit stakeholders and across the Business Services division itself. Qualifications. Recognised accountancy qualification - ACA, ACCA Preferred. Skills & Experience. Operating at senior manager level with a track record in setting a strategic direction and building out roadmaps for financial services and client accounts. Managing and developing a team of experienced professionals and graduates. Excellent client relationship skills and experience of building relationships with teams and senior stakeholders across an organization. Experience of developing and maintaining financial control within a Business Unit - understanding the business and using this knowledge to ensure accurate financial reporting. Excellent reporting, written and presentation skills. Experience working within SAP or other recognised ERP environments desirable. Shared services exposure while not a requirement would be desirable. 5-10 years post ‘Big 4’ or mid-tier qualification experience.
