Senior Credit Manager. Responsibilities: Managing the day to day delivery of all AR services in line with the service level agreement. Managing accounts receivable staff of up to 15 Clerks. Ensuring that cash collection targets are achieved. Maintain a strong set of financial controls ensuring that their area of responsibility is compliant with the group credit control policy. Minimising bad debt to protect shareholder value. Resolving internal and external queries. Ad hoc work as required in the role. Develop a close working relationship with senior management in the business unit. Complete a process improvement process. Manage client accounts with a total transactions of up to €1.5m. Skills & experience. Proven track record in a similar role within an FMCG business environment. Extensive Sap preferable but not essential. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc. Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines. Strong commercial background. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with finance logistics and sales functions. Bachelor''s Degree or qualification in credit management ideal. Competencies. The energy, enthusiasm and drive to make it happen. A team player who has the ability to motivate others, making it fun while getting the job done. Enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment where the focus is on continuous improvement and the challenge to make it better. Excellent communications skills including listening skills a distinct advantage.
