Title: Manufacturing Engineer. Location: Waterford. Summary: To identify opportunities within the plant, whereby cost can be reduced and capabilities can be improved through the implementation of alternative processes. Responsibilities: Supervise new processes, installation of new equipment and ensure that project objectives are being met. Get all new projects and equipment up and running and running in production in a timely manner. Manage the budget and performance/ progress of each project. Be able to deal with both the Capex and Non Capex projects. Adherence to SOX general practice, with reference to PO’s and New Asset Introduction in particular. Identify, nominate and drive projects to support site goals and improve efficiencies in the area of equipment selection and procurement. Requirements: B.Eng or equivalent in an engineering discipline. Six Sigma Qualification preferably a Green or Black Belt. 6- 8 years of various similar roles. Experience in designing or building machinery used for production with a strong push on Automation. PM experience is a must. Previous experience within large capital projects and tech introduction.
