An exciting opportunity to join a Waterford based company as a Quality Manager. Our client, a prestigious engineering company who serve a wide range of industries,is looking for someone with excellent leadership skills who will thrive in a fast paced challenging multi-site environment. The Role. Develop , implement and maintain Quality system. Ensure that processes meet with ISO and AS requirements. Provide validation expertise to maintain validated status for the facility. Assess product specifications and customer requirementsand ensure that same are met. Supervise the program of internal auditing. Develop , maintain and approve standards. Manage quality issues to ensure timely and effective corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence. Providing support to Regulatory and Customer audits. Deal with supplier and Customer Liaison on Quality Issues. Management of validation documentation. Coordinate validation team activities to ensure schedule adherence and compliance. The Person. Degree in engineering, science or equivalent field. 7-10 years work experience with at least 5 years within a medical/pharmaceutical environment. Experience in Quality Assurance, Validation & Process Improvement. Knowledge of ISO13485 standards. (AS9100 desirable. Working Knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system is desirable. Knowledge and experience of problem solving techniques. Able to act on own initiative.
