Our client, one of the South East's leading food and beverage venues is seeking a General Manager based in Waterford. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing and progressive large scale late night venue in a challenging and rewarding role. The Role: Supervise the day-to-day operations of the venue. Managing tasks such as rostering, organising and planning of all events within the venue. Maximise Food & Beverage sales within the business. This is a hands on role managing a large number of bar and restaurant staff so some serving tasks may be required from time to time. Management of weekly and monthly budgets for the venue. Ensure resolution of any customer issues/complaints. Monitor and controlling the Food & Beverage stock for the venue. Ensuring that the venue is fully promoted through campaigns for upcoming events. The Person: The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a similar role (5+ years) and demonstrated ability to grow a business. The candidate needs to be customer focused and dedicated to providing a high standard of service. Previous Operations management would be essential. Must have the ability to organise and plan ahead. Also the candidate must have the ability to lead people and create a strong team unity within the business.
