Our client, a leadingWaterford based manufacturing company currently has a vacancy for a NPI Engineer . This is an opportunity to join a manufacturing company in a challenging and rewarding role with excellent opportunities for personal development. As an NPI engineer you will be responsible for end to end projects from design stage right through to manufacturing. This will involve working across all engineering areas and interacting with customers. The Role Manufacture sample/prototypes to customer satisfaction. Component sample to production. Complete ECN’s and communicate to relevant personnel. Liaise with relevant personnel at customer sites, customer visits and feedback. Non-Conformance / Corrective Action of drawings on floor. Designing/Supervision of Jigs and Fixtures. The Person 3rd level qualification in Engineering. 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a manufacturing company. Must be highly proficient user of a 3D CAD package like Solid Works: 3D CAD qualification desirable. CAD/CAM experience preferable.
