An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant within the Finance department of a large MNC in Waterford. Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, this position will be focused on weekly site operational performance reporting, monthly management reporting, financialplanning, site financial controls and the on-going development of managementreporting platforms. Key Responsibilities. Support the weekly collation of critical operational performance metrics in partnership with production management. Focus on site manufacturing effectiveness versus target. Provide a weekly overview of site efficiency to the Senior Management Accountant. Ensure an on-going and reliable flow of relevant plant performance information to key stakeholders. Partner with Process Management Team members to support a continuous improvement & lean manufacturing (GPS) programme. Own the sites overhead cost reporting process (actual month, budget and interim forecast. Support the Senior Management Accountant with regard to the preparation of the sites gross margin & associated variance analysis (actual month, budget and interim forecast. Support the Senior Management Accountant in the development of product costing platforms. Support the maintenance of robust site financial controls. Support general financial process elements as required. Role Requirements. Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Management Accounting role within a large manufacturing organisation. Attention to detail & accuracy. Structured approach. Strong commercial / value-add acumen. Strong commitment and ability to meet tight deadlines. Challenging / engaging business partner, driven to deliver continuous improvement in a team environment. Strong communicator with good interpersonal and presentation skills.
