Our client, an international industry leader is seeking an Affiliate Relationship Manager to join their team. You will be based here in Waterford while providing support to to international offices also. Fluency in French is essential for this role. The ARM is responsible for providing a high level of service and ensuring satisfaction for the companies affiliates when it comes to how they utilize and benefit from the companies wide range of products and services. The ARM works closely with designated affiliates to understand each individual business and its goals (both short and mid to long term). They will drive the right conversations and actions with Product Owners, Project Managers, Customer Support employees, Marketing Intelligence Analysts and other key resources within the company. As an advocate and central point of contact for affiliates, the ARM’s role is to ensure each affiliate is: effectively leveraging applications, features and other product offerings. moving forward as result of well-strategized and executed affiliate-specific projects. profiting from powerful data-driven guidance, insights and targeting capabilities. advancing as result of best in breed technology and practices that drive business and operational efficiency. benefiting from a trusted partner who will present opportunities and solutions, solve problems and expose risks. Job Responsibilities. Ensure adoption and leveraging of the appropriate data, technologies and best practices: Develop a thorough knowledge of affiliate’s business including, marketing strategies, products, services, offers, operational quirks and customer service needs. Develop a knowledge of Publishing Services systems and processes and how they integrate and impact each other. Know how to best engage the affiliate with given opportunities in non-technical speak. Maintain an effective feedback loop between affiliates and internal services resources. Facilitate and actively participate in conversations led by executive management or specialized consultants. Support, Resourcing and Training: Monitor and safeguard that support is happening in a timely and value-adding manner. Encourage support requests that drive the business forward. Analyze and present back to the affiliate trends seen with support requests that can be mitigated with additional training, stronger processes, clearer communication, etc. Provide escalation support to drive resolutions that meet the need and create a path forward while alleviating concerns. Partner with other services departments to continually add efficiencies to the day- to-day processes with the common goal of increasing affiliate satisfaction. Projects and Special Initiatives: Work with and listen carefully to the affiliate to understand the desired results. Establish and document the business need being sure to communicate a clear picture of success. Provide regular and accurate timelines and updates to affiliates throughout the project. When required, represent the affiliate in the project, routing key decisions back to the affiliate. Affiliate relationship management, strategy and communication: Prepare clear, engaging and manageable agendas in a timely manner. Provide timely executive summaries to affiliates and internal resources with outlined action items. Follow up on all action items and provide updates creating a continuity between affiliate meetings. Provide communication to company leadership and all stakeholders. Effectively listen and ask probing questions to identify true need. Demonstrate a sense of urgency based on a clear understanding of affiliate priorities. Perform effectively in meetings and give clear, engaging presentations. Prepare documentation in a clear and organized manner. Accept new challenges and responsibilities. Convey a positive image of yourself and the companies services. Accept overall accountability for outcomes. Role Requirements & Competencies BA or BS in relevant field or equivalent work experience. Demonstrated success with supporting clients at all different levels. Fluency in French – essential. 3+ years of experience in publishing, direct marketing, e-commerce or related fields. Ability to interpret technical information and translate into common terminology and communicate to all levels within the organization. Self-driven, accountable and self-motivated, with an effortless ability to build strong relationships. Strong analytical, problem solving, attention to detail and process improvement skills. Ability to work well under pressure, handle crisis situations, and balance competing tasks. Team player able to work across many different departments, functions, and environments. Ability to take ownership of requests and projects to drive to successful completion. Ability to perform with a sense of urgency and sensitivity to deadlines. Strong business acumen (able to evaluate and assess customer needs. Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills. Proven troubleshooting skills.
