R.T.Lane Recruitment are actively resourcing for an expanding Multi-national in Waterford. There is a requirement for x4 Permanent Quality Engineers as part of this expansion. Fabulous opportunities for progression in this Medical Devices environment. Role: Liaise with shift management to manage the Manufacturing operation to provide the required volume output per shift which complies with all quality and regulatory requirements. v Determine appropriate lot disposition decisions on a shift by shift basis. v Manage, review & approve any non-conformances that may occur. v Provide quality oversight for manufacturing, including approval of validation documentation, updating PFMEAs , manage CAPA activity & continuous improvement. v Act as the MQM interface with Operations and engineering functions. v Disposition product as appropriate & manage any non-conformance activity. v Highlight relevant issues and participate / lead resolution. v Understand and review Validation documentation, Change Requests, Design and Process FMEA’s. v Participate in Quality System Continuous Improvement activities. v Ensure regulatory compliance to GMP’s of applicable medical device regulatory agencies (eg, FDA, ISO and MDD) and internal documentation. v Provide direction to ensure product quality is maintained at all stages of the manufacturing operation. v Additional requirements of the job will be specified by the Manufacturing Quality Manager. Requirements. v Minimum 3 years’ experience in a regulated pharmaceutical/medical device environment. v Manufacturing quality experience desirable. v Full understanding of the requirements of the Regulatory Standards. v Experience in Quality auditing an advantage. v Experience in using Microsoft Office products. v Experience of working in a team environment. v Third level Qualification in Science or Engineering. v Statistics/Six Sigma qualification an advantage. v Good communication skills. v The ability to motivate and influence people. v Self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to prioritize. v High attention to detail.
