R&D Project Manager. Job Purpose. To devise & coordinate the overall planning, organization and implementation of R&D project plans to ensure the successful completion of projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Responsibilities. Devise and coordinate the planning and implementation of R&D projects in line with the direction of the Head of R&D. Plan, schedule and track project deliverables using appropriate tools, in conjunction with senior management team, ensuring all parties understand their own deliverables. Constant monitoring, problem solving and reporting on project progress to all stakeholders. Develop and maintain project plans, and update relevant parties. Manage project resource allocation in line with direction of the Head of R&D. Co-ordinate and run R&D project meetings. To ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with the required standards to conform to company, cGxP, health and safety, environmental and regulatory requirements. To deliver on good customer service standards. Minimum Qualifications & Experience. Qualified to degree level in an appropriate science discipline. Minimum five years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a project management role. Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
