Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Waterford currently has a vacancy for an Automation Engineer . This is an opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company in a challenging and rewarding role with excellent opportunities for personal development. You will ensure Automation systems are specified appropriately, configured, operated, improved and maintained to meet customer and compliance requirements. The Role. Specify Automation systems for new projects. Ensure all systems are in accordance with GAMP and cGMP. Maintain PLC automation systems. Understand the requirements of computer systems validation and ensure compliance is maintained. Develop and adhere to a Life cycle management process for automation systems. Support process investigations and troubleshooting as required. Support project delivery as required through review and sign off of specifications, designs and commissioning protocols. Attendance at FAT’s etc. The Person. Engineering degree (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years engineering experience within industry, preferably Pharma.
