Our client, a leading Waterford based manufacturing company currently has a vacancy for a Project Engineer . This is an opportunity to join a manufacturing company in a challenging and rewarding role with excellent opportunities for personal development. As a Project Engineer, you will provide Project Engineering support and leadership to site capital projects enabling delivery of high quality projects safely, on time and within budget. The Role. Follow site procedures in Project Management best practice, including PM methodologies, design, documentation management, standards etc. Ensure scope is understood, communicated and locked through appropriate charter for the project. Manage budgets to ensure control is maintained at all times. Coordinate and attend FAT’s as required. Ensure validation methodology is clear and integrated into the project from URS onwards. Ensure documentation, training and handover meet the customers’ expectations. Ensure contracts are binding and clearly linked to project scope, schedule, budget and specific skill sets. Report covering 1) Schedule, 2) Cost control, 3) Project scope and 4) Risks and mitigations, compiled at appropriate intervals. Ensure all work carried out is in compliance with the required standards, conforming to company, cGMP, cGLP, SOP’s, regulatory guidelines. The Person. Qualified to a minimum of Degree level in an Engineering discipline. At least 5 years Project Management experience, preferably in the Pharma sector.
