You're an ambitious engineer with at least two years of product development experience in the Medical device sector.You relish the challenge of working with proprietary materials and technology to develop the next generation of state of the art orthopaedic medical devices. This is your chance to be part of the development of an exciting pipeline of new products.You've already worked on all aspects of the creation of new medical devices under the ISO 13485 standards; from product design and development through to validation and product launch. You love the idea of working for a small, dynamic company at the forefornt of developing it's technology; efficently managing you time and hitting project milestones as you advance from idea generations through to commercialisation. A background that includes working on orthopeadic devices, polymers, textiles or other materials in a regulated environment is essential for the role. Reporting to the R&D Manager. Product/device development at all phases (idea generation through to commercialisation. Generation and testing of prototypes and sample products. Material development. Manufacturing and process development. Carry out Design & Development procedures, FMEcA, Risk analysis etc as per quality system in place at FFR. Follow project plans in line with company objectives. Liaison with Universities, Institutes, suppliers and commercial organisations when required. Work to achieve goals and objectives as defined in R&D project plans.
