JOB DESCRIPTION. TRAINING CO-ORDINATOR – WATERFORD. Title: Training Co-Ordinator. Department: Human Resources. Reports To: Human Resources Manager. Education/Training/Experience: • Level 7/8 Training and Development qualification or equivalent. • Lean Manufacturing qualification and Basic Technical knowledge advantageous. • 3+ years of experience in a similar role. • Manufacturing experience essential, Healthcare experience and knowledge of healthcare standards/ requirements for training highly desirable. Responsibilities of Position: • Lead the Training function and consult with key stakeholders to identify training, learning and development needs for employees in line with Quality and regulatory requirements. • Identify knowledge and skills training needs to identify gaps in training and provide and drive recommendations on training solutions. • Devise development training programmes to promote internal progression in roles. • Plan, develop, deliver and evaluate training and related learning support programs. • Devise and Implement competency based assessments to measure the effectiveness of training. • Develop and/or customize training materials targeted at specific trainee groups. • Coordinate, deliver and follow-up on training and performance initiatives with individuals/groups. • Develop and implement procedures, knowledge and job aids in order to assess and support effectiveness of performance improvement, learning and development programs. • Prepare and present new employee orientations and initial technical and company induction program. • Maintain training records databases, matrices and training requirements matrix etc. in line with Quality regulatory requirements. • Track and prepare reports and follow through on all required training to ensure compliance targets are achieved. • Lead the training function on Quality and Regulatory audits of the training function. • Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives. • Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position. Skills/Attributes: • Results orientated with excellent planning and organisational skills. • Excellent attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills required. • Ability to communicate with other team members, visitors, and customers, at all times, in an effective, pleasant, courteous and tactful manner. • Advanced Microsoft applications user.
