What you need to know. You will work as a Lean Specialist for our client, an indigenous Irish food company in the South East. As the Lean Specialist you will report into the Plant Manager and you will assist with facilitating the development and implementation of business process improvement projects. This is a permanent role. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Organise and facilitate workshops on process improvement/value stream mapping across the business. Work with other departments to determine opportunities for the elimination of waste and non-value added activity. Prepare & analyse plant data (MES) alongside operational staff to identify areas for improvement. Manage the implementation of the company training plan from the coordination of the formal training activities through to evaluation of training effectiveness. Responsible for ensuring that the company’s in house performance strategy remains fully integrated into the site strategy. Lead and support continuous improvement. What are we looking for? 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role. Third level degree qualified or previous experience in process improvements. Desirable Criteria: Previous experience in training and/or facilitating groups would be an advantage. Experience in Change Management would be an advantage.
