Reporting to the HR Manager this is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading multinational manufacturing organisation based in Waterford. Do you have previous training experience within a manufacturing environment? If so, this could be a great opportunity to progress your career in a challenging and varied role. Main Responsibilities: Lead the training function and consult with key stakeholders to identify training and learning and development needs for employees in line with Quality and regulatory requirements. Identify knowledge and skills training needs to identify gaps in training and provide and drive recommendations on training solutions. Devise development training programmes to promote internal progression in roles. Plan, develop, deliver and evaluate training and related learning support programs. Devise and Implement competency based assessments to measure the effectiveness of training. Develop and/or customize training materials targeted at specific trainee groups. Coordinate, deliver and follow-up on training and performance initiatives with individuals/groups. Develop and implement procedures, knowledge and job aids in order to assess and support effectiveness of performance improvement, learning and development programs. Prepare and present new employee orientations and initial technical and company induction program. Maintain training records databases, matrices and training requirements matrix etc. in line with Quality regulatory requirements. Track and prepare reports and follow through on all required training to ensure compliance targets are achieved. Lead the training function on Quality and Regulatory audits of the training function. Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives. Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position. Main Requirements: 3+ years experience in a similar role. Level 7/8 Training and Development qualification or equivalent qualification.Manufacturing experience essential. Manufacturing experience essential. Lean manufacturing qualification and basic technical knowledge advantageous.
