MATRIX RECRUITMENT are recruiting Facilities Technicians (Mechanical & Electrical) for our client in Waterford – permanent job. You will be required to support, debug and improve complex automation systems. Key duties & responsibilities: Performing planned maintenance schedules on Facilities equipment: Purified Water Systems (Generation and Storage), Steam distribution, Boilers, Compressed Air, HVAC (clean room environment), Sprinklers. Perform daily Facilities logs. Responding to breakdowns of Facilities equipment. Completion of necessary documentation of validated cGMP services on a rotation basis. Providing assistance to projects on drain downs and refills of closed loop water systems. Performing Facilities related project work. Receiving deliveries of Facilities maintenance equipment. To assist the Facilities Engineer optimise the efficiency of plant equipment. May be necessary to provide emergency stand by cover on rotational basis. Must be available for quick release. Your Skills / Qualifications. Fitter Trade Qualification. Experience of working with plant utilities such as: Purified Water Systems (Generation and Storage), Steam distribution, Boilers, Compressed Air, HVAC (clean room environment), Sprinklers. OR. Electrical Trade Qualification. Experience of working with plant utilities such as: LV, MV Distribution & Generation Networks, Boiler controls, Compressed Air, HVAC (clean room environment), Fire Alarm Systems, Building Management Systems & Energy Management Systems. A strong electro-mechanical background and knowledge of Facilities systems. Knowledge of Building Management Systems and of planned preventative maintenance systems (PEMAC. Good working knowledge of computers, ECDL an advantage. High level of ability in problem solving and troubleshooting. Must be available for quick release.
