Our client, a leadingWaterford based manufacturing company currently has a vacancy for a Senior Project Engineer ( Programmes) with a technicalengineering background. This is a great opportunity for an experiencedProject Engineerto join a leading manufacturing company who are continuing to expand and growtheirfacility in Waterford. You will take overall responsibility for a new customer programme from sourcing equipment, tooling and servicesto getting the new programme into production. If you are a Project Engineer looking to take the next step in your career then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. THE PERSON Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or plastics engineering or related discipline with 4-6 years of experience. Relevant Masters Degree desirable. Project Engineering and/or Program Management experience required - ideally you will have a strong technical engineering background and be able to deal with tooling, machinery, assembly operations, automated equipment etc... 3+ years’ experience of working in injection moulding processing/automation highly desirable. Certified Black Belt preferred. Practical experience in Lean continuous improvement techniques including statistics & DOE. A competitive salary and benefits are on offer for the right candidate.
