Working with the LotusWorks team as a Process Engineer you will provide engineering support for manufacturing operations based within the value streams. The role requires technical ownership to be taken for a number of process steps and contributing towards key business drivers such as HSE, Quality, Supply and Cost. The role will also require a focus on process stability which will involve managing CAPA and CIP projects. As process owner the role will involve collaborating with a number of functional groups delivering projects in the value stream such as NPI and Manufacturing Engineering as well as with suppliers and other sister sites running similar processes. Responsibilities: You will support the selection and introduction of new and relocated cell culture and purification process equipment. Provide engineering guidance for process design for the introduction of new products to site. Have experience in change control and corrective action systems. Maintain and update site engineering drawings and documents. Complete SAT’s and FAT’s for new equipment. Work with user groups to develop technical solutions that improve process safety, improve efficiency and reduce risk of error. Performing as part of a team the walk down, commissioning, optimisation and OQ teams. The review and approval of commissioning dossiers, OQ protocols and OQ reports. Ensure all commissioning and validation documentation is completed in accordance with Project standards. Ensure all punch items are closed out. Generating SOPs and provide end user input into training material for specific equipment. Requirements: The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree qualification in science or engineering with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience of working in an EU/FDA regulated environment. Hands on experience of Technology Transfer would be of specific interest. Knowledge and experience of all relevant Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and guidelines. Benefits. Life Assurance. Pension Contribution.
