Hartley People Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Logistics and Planning Manager on behalf of our client, a successful and expanding FMCG company in the South East. The Logistics and Planning Manager will: Manage the procurement personnel. Ensure that raw materials are available to meet production requirements. Manage material inventories. Identify and implement material inventory reduction opportunities. Liaise with the sales department regarding forecasting. Develop daily production schedules. Maximise plant capacity. Control and maintain the plant planning system. Managing logistics. Manage KPI's. The ideal candidate will have: Broad planning experience at supervisory or management level. Experience in managing logistics and stock movement. Preference for a third level qualification in a related area. Excellent IT skills. Experience managing KPI's.
