Matrix Recruitment Group is currently seeking an NPI Engineer to be based in Waterford . As the NPIEngineer you will work for our client, a Medical Device company, in a contract job. As the NPI Engineer you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Supply Chain Team regarding New Product Introductions. Key Responsibilities. Manage Quality Control Reviews (QCRs) for New Product Set-ups. Establish NPSU teams, lead meetings, deliver on timelines, issue meeting minutes, remove roadblocks to enable timelines to be met to support launch dates. Accountable for working with operations and site functions to deliver robust systems in time to support required launch and ramp schedule. Engineer on new product development, transition with new products to operations as new product/process subject matter expert. Responsible for New Product Set Up (NPSU) form generations and approvals. Responsible for initiation and management of NPSU QCR’s. Ensure all processes/systems are in place to support testing and launch build schedules. Lead NPSU sub-teams, maintain documentation including issuing and maintaining minutes. Operations core team member on New Products “Product Development Process” (PDP. Engineering member to work with R&D on Product/Manufacturing Process Development to develop processes for new products. Apply process knowledge expertise to facilitate OEE map. Various departments on a project by project basis e.g. Supply Chain, R&D, Engineering & Operations. Role Requirements. Degree in Engineering /related discipline - or equivalent combination of Education / Experience. Focused on delivering Key Operational Measurements. Demonstrated analytical & problem solving skills, process improvement orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, aggressively results-oriented environment. Ability to act as a team leader, team player and independently on multiple activities. Accountable; achieves results on time and within budget.
