Buyer Planner - County Waterford. Duties & responsibilities include: Support Supply Chain function for raw material requirements. Schedule finished product and inventory on designated product families. Support new product introduction (NPI) with product launches. Procurement of key raw materials and packaging components to support plant production. Process purchase requisitions. Expediting / de-expediting purchase orders. Monitoring and Management of inventory levels for key raw materials and packaging components. Providing accurate forecast information to vendors. Support procurement of Capital and Indirect materials. Executing RFQ’s and regular competitive benchmarking activities. Negotiation and implementation of supply agreements with key vendors. Partner with all internal stakeholders; Customer Services, Export Services, Operations, IT and Finance. Ensuring compliance with cGMP is adhered to at all times. Interested applicants should meet the following person specification: Educated to Degree level – Business / Procurement - or equivalent experience. IIPMM / AIPICs desirable. Ability to use Excel at an advanced level. Experience of using ERP LX / JDA or similar ERP systems. Ability to act as a team player, or independently, and with multiple activities.
