Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a part time position? A Waterford based business is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a part time position with flexibility around working hours. The role. As an Accounts Assistant you will complete general business and office procedures including: Managing supplier invoices i.e. checking invoices against delivery dockets, checking pricing and dealing with any queries arising from errors. Ensuring cheque payments and bank payments are reconciled with statements. Balancing the cash account. Completing payroll. Other general office procedures as they would arise. The person. Minimum 2 years experience as an Accounts Assistant, in a similar role with a solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles. A good understanding of SAGE. Previous payroll experience. Fully proficient in Excel. A strong multi-tasker with excellent organisational and communication skills. Previous experience in the hospitality or food and beverage sector would be an advantage.
