What you need to know. You will work as an IT Business Systems Analyst for our client’s site, a leading pharmaceutical company in the South East . This is a permanent positon. The salary range is depending on education and experience. You will be responsible for all IT systems within the company and report to the Management Accounting Manager. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities. Ensure that all information systems are maintained to the required regulatory and best practice standards. Provide IT and system support company wide. Manage the enhancement and maintenance of all IT systems. Oversee the system administration functions for the purpose of controlling the systems and attaining maximum utilisation and efficiency. Preparation and control of the company IT budget and identification of cost effective IT solutions. Point of contact with third party IT service providers and IT Validation Consultant. Maintain IT Infrastructure Design. Responsible for the renewal of software and security licenses. Involvement in the maintenance and improvement of automated systems procedures. Overall scheduling and management of IT impacting projects. Review and approve all IT related change controls and planned and unplanned deviations (GxP and non-GxP. Involvement in the audits of IT impacting vendors. Generation and interpretation of periodic IT metrics and reports. Familiarity with IT impacting regulatory guidelines including SOX and GxP and involvement in regulatory body audits. What are we looking for? Qualified to a minimum of degree level in Computer Systems or IT related discipline. At least 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environment/industry. Previous cross-functional project experience. Previous supervisory management or mentoring experience advantageous. Experience in executing protocols for IT infrastructure qualification. Planning and organising. Project co-ordination. Proven time management skills. Ability to manage multiple conflicting demands and to prioritise accordingly. Knowledge of cGxP, SOPs, regulatory regulations and guidelines. Firewalls & maintenance of servers. Advanced Computer Skills to include: MS office Windows Server & Desktop Exchange Database Management Virtualisation Technologies Network Management Print Management. Teamwork & Collaboration. Good Communication, Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills. Ability to handle pressurised timelines. Ability to deal with cross-functional groups. Attention to detail , Problem Solving / Analysis.
