Maintenance technician wanted for a Manufacturing plant in Tipperary. Role involves: Problem solving mechanical / electrical issues on the Manufacturing plant. Working with the team for Maintenance downtime ,root cause analysis and problem solving on plant. Responsible for the maintenance of the parts system. Working on the PO system for the Maintenance department to include creation, approval and matching of PO’s to delivery dockets. Involved in capital & continuous improvement projects for the company in partnership with the Engineering team. Prepare regular reports on maintenance and machine downtime. Working in a pressurised environment to minimise downtime and ensure maximum production. Work with a cross functional team. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. Minimum 1 Years experience operating in a regulated industry/environment –qualified electrician. Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills. PLC knowledge an advantage. ATTRIBUTES. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Should have good verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates a logical approach to problem solving. Has a ‘can do’ attitude.
