Hartley People are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner/Demand Planner for an exciting opportunity with a Waterford based company. The Role : Responsible for inventory replenishment based on production schedules, current inventory, customer orders and forecasts; Responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating with manufacturing and the supply chain groups for the master production schedule for customer orders and the required production cycle; Harvesting data to identify material trends, usages and stock cycles and proposing new or alterative concepts for efficient material processing and stocking programmes; Liaise with production, quality and engineering managers to reschedule in case of design changes, material backlogs, etc in support of business growth; Develop effective working relationships with the company’s supplier base and ensure that all the specified and approved suppliers execute order fulfilment for the company’s PO and order contracts; Support business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination of key events, new product launches, and network redesigns; Monitor key performance indicators, analyse cost to serve performance data, and coordinate cross functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project and ERP systems. The Person : Business degree in the field of planning or supply chain management; Ideally 3-years experience in a manufacturing environment in the area of supply chain; Efficient and effective interpersonal skills and strong communication skills; Good working knowledge of MS Office package and ERP systems; Ability to work across multi functions and communicate across functions; Proven problem solving skills and methodologies; International travel may be expected; A full clean driver’s licence; Hartley People Recruitment work to the highest ethical standards within our industry and we value the trust that you place in us when you send your CV.
