Our client, based in the South East currently has a vacancy for a Scheduling Manager. This role offers an exceptional package for the successful Candidate. The Role. Full responsibility for the Supply Planning process. Manage performance of the Supply Planning Team. Liaise with regional supply planning team to ensure production schedule meets requirements. Responsible for ensuring effective planning and vendor management ensuring shorter lead-times and reduced on site inventory. Define KPI’s on site inventory levels. Full responsibility for approved finished goods. Project manage all improvement initiatives relating to planning and vendor management. Provide leadership to the overall team. The Person. Third level qualification in Business or Planning. The ideal candidate would have an IPICS or APICS certification. 5+ years experience managing a team within a planning function. High level of problem solving is required. The successful candidate must be customer driven and strong at building relationships.
